Durable and Resilient

Our Hardwood Species

Hardwood is generally referred to as wood with a high fiber content and a tight vessel structure.

Compared to softwood, growth is much slower, which makes the wood denser and heavier. However, the hardness of the wood is not directly related to its durability against pests and fungal attacks. However, the mechanical strength is usually an advantage compared to softer softwoods.

Hardwood is often used in high-quality furniture or tool making.
